With more than thirty years in the practice of law, Jon Dean wears many hats. Jon manages our firm and title company and has served the needs of our clients in many capacities, including: serving as General Counsel for the Marion County Hospital District from 1998-2016; Chairman of the Board and board member for Florida Citizen’s Bank from 1999-2015 (now a part of Center State Bank); General Counsel and board member of Central Florida College Foundation, and has served as President of several private for-profit and not-for-profit corporations. Jon has served as lead counsel on hundreds of cases which resulted in favorable results for our clients, including obtaining millions of dollars in settlements and judgments for his clients. Jon has managed and supervised the closings of over a billion dollars in real estate transactions through our law firm and title agency, Advantage Title, LLC. Jon is an active member of St. John Lutheran Church and the Ocala Rotary Club. He raises Angus cattle with his brother former Marion County Sheriff, Ed Dean, raises and races thoroughbred horses, and enjoys fishing and playing golf.
Jon is involved in most areas of the firm's practice with primary emphasis on real estate, commercial law, probate and the litigation that relates thereto.
